She is a goat that looks very similar to her granddam SGCH Brackett's Sunburst Waltz. Besides having the deep dark red color that stands out in the showring, she also possesses a very long and level topline. She also has very strong pasterns with a great deal of rear leg angulation. Besides her great general appearance, Vixon also has a great pedigree. Her granddam, Waltz, is one of the most beautiful does we have ever had, her dam being SGCH Body-Shops SB Polenta, our farm's foundation doe and the 2001 Reserve National Junior Champion. Vixon's dam Jingles freshened in 2011 with one of the most correct udders we've ever had with near perfect attachment and teat placement. Jingles' sire was Brackett's Sunburst Hans, a buck from the noteable buck Lyme-Kiln SM Hans Michael who produced numerous national champions. On Vixon's other side, her sire is Ober-the-Top Joe who became a permanent champion as a beautiful yearling buck. Joe comes from our Cream-of-Kansas goats. Vixon's granddam is CH Brackett's Sunburst Sinderella who also became a champion as a yearling milker (her dam Sindesis was SGCH and an Elite doe in the top 97% of the nation), and her grandsire is CH Brackett's Sunburst Artero, a Polenta and SG White-Haven Sousa son (LA 92EEE). We really miss Artero, so Joe is the next best thing, seeing as old Arty is his sire. Artero's sire is Sousa, who is starting to make quite an impact on the Oberhasli breed, scoring 92 EEE in 2008. Joe's granddam Polenta was the 2001 ADGA Reserve National Junior Champion and she produces some of our nicest goats. Joe also has Court Jester, Blackjack, Viking Legend, and National Champion Toblerone back in his pedigree, as well. His granddam Sindesis won the High Individual Production Award at 2010 ADGA Nationals and is an ADGA Elite Doe in the top 97% of the U.S. for the Oberhasli breed. We have great hopes for Joe, as he finished his championship as a yearling!
